Calling all runners,

Virtual racing is a drag, we get it. This one’s a little different. Two classic courses. One bizarre two-day marathon. No commitment. Free. Fight your friends over who is the king or queen of Belmont Plateau and the Schuylkill loop.

September: Belmont 5000m XC course

Show us what you got at the famous site for high school and collegiate running in Philadelphia. Run the 5000m course and submit GPS data from your run. You’ll have the entire month of September to run the course and you can run it as many times as you like to get to the top of the leaderboard. Times must be submitted within 24 hours of your run and the leaderboard will be updated daily. Click here for details.

October: The Loop

Many Philadelphia runners log the majority of their miles on “The Loop.” Run the 8.4 mile loop on the Schuylkill River Trail, starting and finishing at Lloyd Hall. You’ll have the entire month of October to run the course, and you can run it as many times as you like to top the leaderboard, just remember to submit your time with supporting data. Again, times must be submitted within 24 hours of your run and the leaderboard will be updated daily. Click here for details.

November 21-22: The 2 day marathon

Yeah, we all normally like to do some running this weekend. For this race, you have 2 days to cover 26.2mi. Split up the total distance across 2 days in ANY way you choose, on ANY course. If you want to run 20mi on Saturday and 6.2mi on Sunday, great. If you want to run 13.1mi on each day, terrific. If you want to run 105.5 x 400 meter repetitions on the track, knock yourself out. You just need to cover 26.2 miles over two days. This is the only event that has to be run on a single weekend and will, just like the previous 2 races, require supporting data. Times must be submitted within 24 hours of your final run. Click here for details.
